Jerry Pashen
Free Lecture: Grid Power 2010- A Vision of Sustainable, Non-Polluting Energy for Everyone
By Jerry Paschen

Free admission, donations welcome

Presentation Description:

Jerry Paschen is a first class electrician and green party candidate. An electrical contractor since 1968, he managed the LW52 Project, a 750 Kw gearless turbine for the grid through his electrical company. In his latest venture with Windsong Energy Inc., he visualizes a society with a majority of its energy generated by wind and the parking lots are filled with electric rechargeable cars while their owners work and sleep.

Paschen points out that up to 15% of European countries' power is wind generated, Oregon is 5th in the nation but still generates around 41% of its electricity from burning coal. Oregon, with a population of 3 million plus, has 1585 Mw on the grid, which is very impressive. Conservation of electrical power and learning to use renewable energy like wind, which leaves a small footprint on our planet, and CO2 emission reduction projects are a must! Paschen states that we don't have to go back to the "stone age" to live a more sustainable lifestyle; rather, we should look more into the future.

One advantage of harnessing wind power is that it takes less than a year to put up a turbine, while a coal burning plant could take up to 10 years with planning, engineering and construction. Another advantage, a turbine can pay for itself in only four years, or a 24 year life expectancy.

Ashland has a good wind power potential, there is a place for a 3.8 Mw wind farm. He is looking 3 years down the road for investors.

Paschen grew up in Berlin, where he believes his fascination with electricity began, as he regularly rode the electric street car, which he recalls, "takes off like a rocket."

Exhibit runs January 9-31, 10-6 Daily

Exhibit Description:

Victoria Christian is a self taught oil painter whose mission is to create images that deeply move her audience on emotional and spiritual levels. After graduation, she moved to Hawaii and got a job working for Christian Lassen, a world renowned marine artist who inspired her to develop her skills as a painter.

Despite her passion for painting, she returned to the mainland to pursue a Masters in Sociology at Northern Arizona University (her other passion). For her thesis, she did research on women artists and identity formation, which eventually led to another series of research on female mystics and artists. Lecture: Point 618: Sacred Geometry & Universal Order- A Multi-Media Presentation
By New Zealand Artist & Cosmologist Jonathan Quintin

Special introduction by renowned quantum physicist Nassim Haramein

Cost: $15.00 at the door. Seating limitted to 50 people.

Presentation Description:

Take an interdimensional journey through the inner geometry of nature and experience the profound order and sublime beauty that exists on the archetypal planes.

Sacred geometry is a visual form of harmony: the harmony of parts with each other and with the whole. The world is composed of diverse and contrasting elements; it is harmony that unifies the diversity and geometry that unites all creation.

Jonathan's quest as an artist is to provide various modalities that help attune human consciousness to the harmony of universal order. He shows how the shapes, patterns and forms of sacred geometry are harmonic keys that can help open us to states of higher consciousness.

He shows how sacred geometry can be used as a tool for self-empowerment, inner peace and opening the mind to greater possibilities. His spinning fluorescent models are a visually dynamic experience and a huge hit with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Note: Sacred geometry artwork, DVDs & jewelry will be available for purchase

Presenter's Biography:

Jonathan Quintin was born and raised in provincial New Zealand. From an early age he was attracted to the teachings of ancient wisdom and the beauty and wisdom of nature. He left home at an early age and worked at marine radio stations around New Zealand before venturing overseas at the age of 21.

This marked the beginning of his many years of extensive travels around the world - always keen to visit the remains of ancient civilizations and to immerse in different cultures. His radio qualifications enabled him to find employment on ships and oil rigs in the North Sea and with the United Nations in the Middle East…

His fascination with Islamic mosaics heightened when he realized that - more than just exquisite designs - they were in fact mathematical formulae describing states of universal order. It was around this time that he decided to make sacred geometry a full-time pursuit and resigned from the United Nations in order to do so.

For the past 22 years he has pursued a course of comprehensive study and artistic expression of sacred geometry. The fundamental premise of his work is that at every level of existence - from the microcosm to the macrocosm - the same key patterns bring all things into manifestation.

His quest as an artist is to develop modalities that help attune human consciousness to the harmony of universal order, as well as providing tangible evidence that there is order to the Universe.

"An inspirational experience" Dr. Deepak Chopra

"Jonathan is a visionary. His work is inspired"... -Louise Hay

"Jonathan is a magician. He intensifies my hope"... -Jose Arguelles

"Before experiencing Jonathan's work I was an atheist. I am not an atheist anymore"... -Steven Rasmuessen. Publisher

"The 2D and 3D geometric visualizations created by Jonathan can have a profound impact on the observer as they activate an innate recognition of the primordial space-time continuum. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this rare opportunity Jonathan brings to the world that can help awaken the human mind to its full potential and connect to the greater whole". -Nassim Haramein

"People (including and especially children) are entranced when Jonathan spins his fluorescent models. It creates a spiritually enriching moment because there in your optical cortex you see how the embedding in light spinning outside - is perfectly fractal to how light spins inside to make matter..." -Dan Winter

You have the opportunity to become aligned with your highest vision of yourself in this coming New Year, physically, energetically, emotionally, and creatively. Pilates Yin Fusion, the Artist's Way can help. You will be doing physical exercises for your energy body (a combination of Pilates meets qi gong) - learn the most important ones you need to remember and why; have personal journaling moments that lead to clarity; AND (among other things), honor your creativity (which your energy body loves) by manifesting your vision of what you want to create in the upcoming year in physical form by making a vision board.

Bring a blanket or yoga mat to exercise on and wear comfy clothes!!

Presenter's Biography:

My name is Robin Burton and my career in fitness began with the dawning of the age of aerobics (think Jane Fonda and leg warmers). It was all about "feeling the burn" with a "no pain, no gain" mentality. Today I know that pain is one of the ways our bodies communicate, and that we no longer have to beat ourselves up in order to look good.
My play is based on all that I have learned in over more than two decades of fitness, including aerobics; high intensity interval training; pilates; qi-gong; yoga; and the study of Chinese medicine and our bodies' energy systems…and all the just plain healing that has taken place in my life and others around me.
Congruent with all of that I began exploring art and was part of a Sacred Circle of Women working through the Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron. My favorite form of art is collage and I have taken a variety of classes and created some unique applications of my own. It all started with a vision board (I like to call them "dream" boards)…and that is just one of the things that I will share with you.

"If you can dream it, you can do it!" - Walt Disney

Workshop Description:

A Design Studio in the Fields of Life

Join us for two lively evenings, January 22nd and January 29 2010, 7 - 9 PM as we look at where we stand in our lives as we enter 2010.

Has your approach to life thus far:

  • Allowed you to embody your sovereignty?
  • Netted you the ability to know joy irrespective of circumstances?
  • Enabled you to respond from your heart rather than from your wounds?
  • Fostered actions consistent with your essential nature of love and compassion?
  • Brought consistent passion and creative expression into the foreground of your life?
  • Resolved you in living the life that is uniquely of your own design?

Never before has the importance of living honestly and compassionately been more important.

Come join like minded/hearted courageous beings as we forge a new way of being and doing in the world.
