Free Lecture & Discussion: Back to the Land Intentional Community
With Chant Thomas, local intentional community activist & rural land consultant.
Presented by Birch Creek Arts & Ecology Center

Free Admission, Donations welcome

Presentation Description:

Recent economic problems once again have stimulated interest in "getting back to the Land" and in more cooperative life-ways such as intentional community. Chant Thomas, founder of Trillium Community Farm in the Applegate, has been working to help people form and maintain intentional communities for over 35 years, and has helped numerous people find rural locations for their trek "back to the Land". A renowned story-teller, Chant will use his own journey into intentional community on the Land as a starting point for a discussion focused on what it takes to start and find intentional community and get started homesteading on the Land.

This presentation will serve as an introduction for two upcoming workshops with Chant at historic Trillium Farm:

"Build Your Community: A Workshop about Intentional Community" Sunday, April 11th, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Starting and maintaining intentional communities. Coming together around shared core values.
