Free Admission, Donations Welcome!

Please Note Time & Location: 258 A St., UPSTAIRS, Suite 7, 6:30- 9:30pm

Series Description:

Join facilitator Marla Estes to watch and discuss the concepts of love, psychology, sociology and culture in these great films. All ages welcome!

This week's film:

This Week's film is French (2005, subtitled). Carl Jung wrote that the psyche has a way of organizing external events for its own growth and this film does a good job of showing us how our unfinished business - what we don't deal with consciously - can come back to "haunt" us. We'll discuss the themes of guilt, shame, projection, atonement, redemption and salvation.

Please note: The actual title of these films is not permitted on our website per our Licensing Agreement. Sorry! However; the titles are included in RVML's Weekly Event Announcement e-Mails (see below for link).

Facilitator's Biography:

Marla Estes, MA lives in Ashland and is a workshop leader, teacher, writer, and mentor. Having a Masters degree in Transpersonal Studies, she has taught at SOU Extension, the SAEJ program at Ashland High School, and has led women's study groups. Several of her articles have been published in the Sentient Times and Alternatives Magazine.

About ReGeneration Dialogue Series:

A weekly experiential event for young adults (approx. late teens to late 30's), exploring emerging culture, embodied consciousness and regenerative action. Events utilize elements of Heart Circle to create a safe and empowering space to explore coming of Age in the 21st century, the regenerative possibilities for human culture and the Earth, and how to activate this potential in our local community.

Facilitators' Biography:

Dominic Allamano is a passionate and potent voice of the emerging visionary generation, inspiring others to shine their light brightly by boldly and humbly shining his. Since his late teens, when he began to see clearly following life altering physical trauma, he has focused his energies in two interrelated realms. The first is the realms of experiential education and explorations of the embodiment of consciousness, while the second is in a deep exploration of the sociological and systemic elements of the dominant world culture. The merging of these two realms has allowed him to perceive many of the key patterns and dynamics that define today's world and hold the promise for tomorrow's.

He feels called to be as a midwife to the emerging culture, assisting both in its birth and development as well as in the navigation of the unforeseen consequences of humanity's past choices, which are defining the context for that emergence. Through extensive travels and speaking around the Pacific Northwest he has aligned with an inspired network of allies with whom he is crafting new paradigm networks and tools like the WorldCrafter's Network (http://www.worldcrafters.org) and CultureSeed (http://www.cultureseed.org) to support the emergence of this new culture.

Please Note: Intended for young adults only.

Khafiz Wrobel
Lecture: Spirit Without Superstition
By Khafiz Wrobel

Cost: $10.00 suggested donation, everyone welcome

Presentation Description:

For at least the last fifty years new models, paradigms, both of what it is to be a human being and, more generally, as to the nature of reality have been emerging into the awareness of popular culture. Through the lives and work of many so-called "New Age" pioneers and explorers- from Jane Roberts and The Seth Material in the 1960's to Deepak Chopra , Neale Donald Walsch ,and Eckhart Tolle today- the possibility of a quantum leap in human evolution has been proposed.

This presentation will attempt to clarify the dimensions of these truly revolutionary developments and possibilities; developments within our species in consciousness and awareness as radical as the "Copernican Revolution" was to the physical science of Astronomy..

Some main topics include: the multi-dimensional, non-local, self or soul and its relationship to the ego, the Law of Attraction and how we, individually and collectively, create our own reality, how to induce a so-called mystical experience.

The process of evolution of the human species is becoming recognized as analogous to the metamorphic process into adulthood in species like the butterfly. Psychologically this will entail rapidly moving from a long period of superstitious belief in scripture or authority into one of direct knowledge and individual responsibility.

If you're tired of being a caterpillar and long to spread your butterfly wings, this presentation is for you.

Presenter's Biography:

Sant Khafiz Wrobel, as the result of experiences predating but following a process nearly identical to that of Eckhart Tolle and others ,has been a chosen Buddha for over 40 years. As one who is "awake"his insights point directly to the nature of the human condition. His being transmits both the enthusiasm and the serenity of the higher octave frequencies of reality. He has been a contributor to Sentient Times magazine and many other "New Age" publications. He is also the developer of what he calls "Real-Time" astrology. His style of presentation is interactive, provocative, and entertaining. He has long been described as a cross between Socrates and Woody Allen.

Lecture & Discussion: "Storm Over Morocco"- Interfaith Peace in Holy Land- a Solution? By Frank Romano

Free admission, everyone welcome

Presentation Description:

I am the author of "Storm Over Morocco"; it is a true story about a desperate escape from an Islamic sect which wrongly accused me of being a Zionist spy in 1978 and tried for sabotage, a capital crime, by an extremist Islamic group in Morocco. During my captivity, I had different confrontations with Islamic gurus, notably concerning the treatment of women.

The second edition of the book was published in January 2009 and it includes two new chapters, including one that discusses a recent intense meeting with Militant Palestinians in a West Bank refugee camp, will guarantee another smashing success. Many people have expressed interest about my present interfaith activities during author events and media interviews.

These confrontations eventually led the Imam to accuse me of being a Zionist spy destined to sabotage his "back to Islam" movement. I was eventually acquitted, but I remained a prisoner behind the tall walls of the mosque. The Imam tried to convert me which I barely resisted by focusing on an ecumenical approach to spirituality.

Presenter's Biography:

Frank Romano earned a PhD at University of Paris I, Panthéon Sorbonne, and a JD at Golden Gate University, Faculty of Law, San Francisco. He is a Maître de conférences (assistant tenured professor) at the University of Paris X in the Anglo-American Literature and Civilization Department and a member of the California and Marseille Bars. At present, he teaches and practices law in France and in the United States.

The author actively organizes and participates in interfaith events involving Jews, Moslems and Christians in Israel and Palestine. Mr. Romano has authored a book entitled Globalization of Antitrust Policies (Mondialisation des politiques de concurrence), published by L'Harmattan in French, a book of poems entitled Crossing Over and has published many articles in Europe and in the United States where he is often invited to speak at conferences.

Cost: $10.00 suggested donation, everyone welcome. Any amount is gratefully accepted to help defray venue costs and the Anastasia Eco-Settlement Project.

Presentation Description:

A Vivid Presentation on:

* Creating a Space of Love and Reclaiming our Pristine Origins
* Establishing the Motherland Party helping individuals find their soulmate and restore to the people a Way of Life and rites capable of preserving Love in families forever

Shambhala - Shasta Community (An Anastasia Eco-Settlement Project in America)
Shambhala Garden Club
Shambhala Nature Preserve
Shambhala Ecovillage Research & Educational Project
Shambhala Nature Conservancy

Presented by Rolando Ambrosio Poe Director, Living Oneness Foundation Project Director, Shambhala - Shasta Community

With a Special Presentation on: The Shambhala Community Energy Bank (CEB)

Shambhala Nature Preserve is now situated on 466-acres of pristine Motherland. The Nature Preserve will be afforested into beautiful woodland with groves, grottos, forest gardens and hiking trails. The Shambhala Ecovillage Research & Educational Project invites you to participate in our Earth changing project. We have begun a process that encompasses sustainable agriculture, permaculture, land use planning, green building, community planning and alternative energy resources. It is a lesson in being good stewards of the Earth's resources through the reawakening consciousness towards our Pristine Origins. We invite you to co-create with us, learn with us, and explore new ways of living in harmony with our great Mother Earth and each other.

Immediately following will be a presentation on the five means of energy exchange and valuation in our Community Energy Bank - the future template of economic exchange that frees our bondage to the programmed attachment to and machinations of the fiat currency called the US dollar. The presentation includes a dissertation on the units of exchange called Hour/Our/Your cards and minted precious metals - our own internal currency. Come join us and find out how to become either a Settler or a Friend and Supporter of our Community Vision.

"The whole Earth could be a Motherland for each one of its inhabitants, and Man could be caressed by everything in the Universe, but for that to happen, he would need to join together all planes of being into a single point, call it his Motherland, and create with his own self a Space of Love therein. Then all the best things of the Universe would come into contact with it firsthand - come into contact with the Space of your Motherland. You in yourself will feel the whole vast Universe through this point, and possess power unsurpassed. They will know about this on other worlds. Everything will serve you, as God, our Creator, wanted it." - Anastasia

Lecture: When Venus Goes Rogue!
By Dana Gerhardt

Cost: $6.00, General Public, $5.00 Seniors (62+), $4.00 NCGR Members

Presented by: "Astrology in Ashland"- The Southern Oregon Chapter of the
National Council for Geocosmic Research (SONCGR*)

Meets every third Monday (except July and August) at RVML - 258 A St, Ashland Suite 7 UPSTAIRS

Presentation Description:

Join Dana and tune into the special gifts of Venus Retrograde, since we meet just as Venus turns direct (after her retrograde journey from March 6 through April 17). During the retrograde Venus is at her most independent and powerful. What messages has she brought you? We'll explore the astronomy and psychology of the Venus cycle, and with Venusian techniques, deepen your personal experience of the goddess of beauty, love and happiness.

A popular columnist with The Mountain Astrologer since 1991, Dana Gerhardt is an internationally respected astrologer. She has lectured extensively and written for numerous astrology websites and publications. She counts herself both a believer and a skeptic, not content with astrology's assumptions until she can touch and taste their proof in people's lives. She enjoys bringing to her teaching and writing a healthy dose of real life confessions and anecdotes.
