Free Introductory Lecture: The Moon Dance - Honoring our Sacred Wisdom
With Astrid Brinck

Free admission, donations appreciated

Description:

All of us, men and women have both masculine and feminine qualities and treasures to discover. Awakening either of them in a conscious way nourishes the other. They are one in the same way that we are one. This is a journey to discover and inquire into the inner feminine rhythm which reminds us to embrace everything both day and night, darkness and light, man and woman beyond judgment.

We will explore the wisdom hidden in the moon phases and its connection with emotional and menstrual cycles.. We will inquire into its meaning and stages, including the connection between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual areas.

We will also learn how Fertility, Sacred Sexuality and Conscious Parenthood are part of the same path of awakening in our lives.

As an essential part of the feminine energy we will experience the Sacred Circle Meditation, which is a direct way into the'we are consciousness'. We will also experience The Heart Meditation and the Sacrum Vibrational Healing.

If you are a woman...
You will learn to recognize the phases of your own personal cycle and the basic tools to navigate you own waters, liberating emotions, expanding understandings and revealing mysteries of the body and soul. You will also learn about the power of honoring other women.

If you are a man....
You will open a door into joy, comprehension of your own emotional cycles and connection with your own feminine essence. You will also enter into a deep understanding of a woman´s inner movements and how to support them in the most harmonious way.

For both men and woman..
We will learn about embracing each other in every kind of relationship, the art of honoring each other and healing together. Perhaps we will be inspired to go beyond self satisfaction into the art of giving and nourishing everything around us with love, presence and compassion.

This introductory seminar includes The Pure Joy Sacred Circle Meditation!!

Facilitators' Biography:

Dominic Allamano is a passionate and potent voice of the emerging visionary generation, inspiring others to shine their light brightly by boldly and humbly shining his. Since his late teens, when he began to see clearly following life altering physical trauma, he has focused his energies in two interrelated realms. The first is the realms of experiential education and explorations of the embodiment of consciousness, while the second is in a deep exploration of the sociological and systemic elements of the dominant world culture. The merging of these two realms has allowed him to perceive many of the key patterns and dynamics that define today's world and hold the promise for tomorrow's.

He feels called to be as a midwife to the emerging culture, assisting both in its birth and development as well as in the navigation of the unforeseen consequences of humanity's past choices, which are defining the context for that emergence. Patterns in Nature- A Visionary Approach- click for more information
First Friday Art Walk: "Patterns in Nature- A Visionary Approach" by Shoshanah Dubiner

"Looking at microphotographs takes me into an amazing universe, different from the one I see ordinarily and yet the very one that my life depends on. Science helps me understand that complex and beautiful universe. Painting pictures is my way of expressing my excitement at being connected with it."

Artist's Biography:

Shoshanah Dubiner is an accomplished artist, teacher and designer. After receiving her academic training (MA in Comparative Literature from Harvard and an MFA in Theater Design) she pursued a career as a designer. Working on museum exhibitions at the California Academy of Sciences allowed her to use her artistic talents to explain scientific material to the general public.

While working on the Aramco Petroleum Science and Technology Museum at The Burdick Group in 1985, she became especially interested in patterns in nature and continued studying the scientific basic of organic form. Peter Stevens' Patterns in Nature, D'Arcy Thompson's Growth and Form, and Lynn Margulis' What is Life? are among her favorite books. Nikon's Small World website is her favorite source of micrographs.

In 2000, she began to paint in a totally improvisational mode. her artistic vision turned inward to the world of the psyche as seen in her one-person show "Infinite Worlds Within" at the Canossa Gallery in San Francisco, 2003.

Today, her paintings represent a convergence of the biological sciences with imagination. By drawing and painting natural objects, studying scientific illustrations and photos, and taking cell biology classes, Shoshanah continues to find rich material for her art. She teaches improvisational painting classes and workshops in Ashland, Oregon.

Celebrate the Beginning of Mayan 6th Day
With Catherine J. Larkin

$10.00 - $20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome

Description:

As the outer news continues to worsen, it becomes so important to anchor ourselves deeply in the Truth of our Essential Being and to trust that there is a greater power at work than just the corporations and politicians. "The Mayan Calendar and the Evolution of Consciousness," by Carl Calleman, PhD., presents the best analysis of the timing of the movements of history that I have ran across.

According to Calleman and Mayan elders he works with, the Mayans, who had no word for time, studied and charted the flow not of outer time and events, but of the inner, spiritual significance to stages of evolutionary unfoldment. When a new "pulse" or stage begins, it is beneficiary to gather to "tune into" the new energy.

November 12 begins a new stage - called the Sixth Day of the Galactic Underworld. The energy this period corresponds to a flowering of the possibilities begun in earlier stages.

This year ofcourse the election will have just been decided the previous week, so it seems especially useful to gather together and dedicate ourselves to the highest good unfolding on the planet. Please plan to join together. The evening will be experiential, as I help hold the field to discover what wants to unfold.

Astrology in Ashland Lecture Series- Astrology of Nations and Leaders-
Planets as Prophets of the Times

Cost: $6.00, General Public, $5.00 Seniors (62+), $4.00 NCGR Members

Presented by: "Astrology in Ashland"- The Southern Oregon Chapter of the
National Council for Geocosmic Research (SONCGR*)

Meets every third Monday at RVML (except July and August)

Presentation Description:

Astrology offers a unique way of understanding the world by looking at the movement of the planets as guideposts and prophets of the times. Attempting to predict the fate of the land or future of a country was in fact one of the earliest applications of astrology.

This type of astrology, generally known as mundane (i.e., "of the world") astrology, is rich in its ability to help raise awareness and bring insight about the unfolding process of time and encourage our capacity to act as constructively as possible.

Please join us as a panel of experienced astrologers tackles the fascinating interplay between planets and nations. The discussion will include the long term planetary cycles currently in effect, and the horoscopes of specific countries and their leaders. (The US will have recently elected its newest leader!)
