Sharon Elam Lecture: The "SIMPLE" of Being!- The Joy is in the Journey
By Sharon Elam

$5.00 - 20.00 Suggested donation, everyone welcome, no one turned away

Presentation Description:

What is this and how might it impact you?

You may find how to experience the "Speed of Going Slow". You may realize that the simpler your perspective of Being is, the easier it is to adapt to "SIMPLE" and experience greater 'Joy in the Journey' of your life adventure.

This is the story of one who has and is traveling the path of simplicity - enjoying the journey - one step at a time! Finding that this one is the greatest and best teacher on this journey, and yet guided by many sign posts along the way. Realizing the importance of creating choices that not only serve this one in the 'NOW', but will also serve many generations yet to come.

Learning to direct the external seeking and with diligence heed the messenger within and actively participate in the act of allowing the highest and best in the moment, thereby creating a future of harmony and balance.

This planet and all its inhabitants, human, animal, plant, waters, mountain- everything - has come to be in this moment because we have over eons learned to adapt in response to the constant and continuous changing environment. This planet is one of 'adaptogens'!

Stories, life experiences, how this came about for this one and where the explorations of this life adventure has led and continues to lead in life's simple pleasures of Being.

This one leads by example, full well knowing she often steps to the beat of a different drummer and not in any way seeking followers.

Presenter's Biography:

Sharon has long been a participant (student) in the University of Life, her major being Service. Though there are as yet no sheep skins, there are the rewards of serving.

After graduating from High School, Sharon attended LACC and Good Samaritan Hospital for a nursing degree. There was no completion in this venture as Sharon married during this time and husband and family took precedent, thereby creating another avenue as a student of Life.

Sharon has maintained her natural desire to work with others and assist them, if they choose, in a variety of ways, all seeming to lead to recognizing ones wholeness and the peace within.

Sharon searches out natural healing processes and shares these, sometimes little-known processes and often times simply forgotten ways.

An avid and continual student of peace, Sharon believes one can only teach what one lives and exemplifies.

Being a volunteer at RVML, for now is part of the curriculum of the University of Life.
