Introduction, Power Point presentation, followed by Q & A session
In 2008 the famous Auroville community in South India will celebrate its 40th anniversary. About 2000 dedicated men and women from all over the world are building an ecologically sustainable city, with innovative governance and economy. All of this is based on a perspective of an evolutionary spirituality. Thousands of visitors every year feel enriched and inspired by this integral and manifesting vision. Auroville's achievements and experiences have relevance for Cultural Creative communities like Ashland.
The power point photos show the course of an insider tour. The next one is in January 2008. It will connect the participants with the amazing range of people and projects in Auroville, followed by 10 days tour to some of South India's sacred temples, ashrams, and beautiful nature reserves. After the presentation there will be time for questions and answers about Auroville and it's significance for Ashland, about India, and about the tour.
Presenters' Biographies:
Wolfgang has been connected with Auroville for more than 30 years. He has been Chairman and Executive Director of the Auroville International Network. Since 2006 he is living in Ashland with his wife Soleil. Wolfgang has organized tours to Auroville for many years. His website, with the tour description: www.sunwolfcreations.com
Soleil met The Mother, the founder of Auroville, in 1971. She has been connected with the community since then. Soleil is giving regular workshops and trainings in Auroville about her evolutionary healing technique, The Hladina Method.
