Workshop Description:
Do you know that you have a powerful, free healing tool always at your disposal? It's your own voice. Women have eliminated malignant breast tumors, people have relieved chronic pain, and others have catalyzed emotional healing by using their own voice. Vocal therapy is non-invasive, has no damaging side effects, is readily available, and is completely free. Even Western medical doctors are using sound in their healing practices, including oncologist Dr. Mitchell Gaynor, author of "The Healing Power of Sound."

You will leave knowing how to direct your voice to fortify and balance your body, heal ailments and relieve pain. This workshop is valuable for anyone, but it's particularly valuable for people dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, cancer, or other systemic conditions. It's also great for people wanting to "open up" their voice and express themselves more. Special vocal skills are not required!
Presenter's Biography:
Laura is a certified sound healer. She has studied with Jonathan Goldman (President of the Sound Healers Association), Kay Gardner (author, Music as Medicine) and other sound healing pioneers. Laura has taught sound healing in Chicago and in Ashland. She also offers individual sound healing sessions in Ashland.
As sound healer, singer, songwriter, public speaker, and teacher of communication arts, Laura uses her voice-and guides others to use theirs-in ways that improve results and enhance life.
