RVML Board Service Informational Meeting
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: RVML Event Center - 258 A St, Ashland
Two informational meetings for people interested in applying to serve on RVML's Board of Directors will be held on:

Wednesday Nov. 29 7:00-8:00pm
Thursday Nov. 30 7:00-8:00pm

It is an exciting time of growth and new opportunity at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library & Event Center. Over the last five years, RVML has presented nearly 500 community events and built an extraordinary lending-library of books and audio-visual programs. With over 10,000 items, RVML's pubic lending collection has grown to be among the largest of its kind in the world.

In response to RVML's growth, the Board of Directors is currently accepting applications to fill new seats beginning January 2007. The available positions correspond to specific functions within the organization as committee heads, requiring candidates with adequate time and resources available to perform the tasks. The areas of focus are:

- Funding development and grant writing
- Lending collection and membership development
- Community outreach (local and long-distance)

RVML Board service is a significant commitment and requires candidates who have a sincere dedication to sustaining and expanding the services of RVML. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in the areas listed and/or have served on NPO Boards, or with executive-level business experience.

When elected, RVML Board Members volunteer and commit to serve beginning January 2007. RVML Board Members are not financially compensated for their service.

Anyone interested in meeting the RVML staff and touring our facilities is welcome to attend. Applications for Board Membership are available at these meetings, or e-mail board@rvml.org

The application deadline is Friday, January 5, 2007

Interesting people, fascinating information and "extra-ordinary" conversation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

In this interactive forum, participants gain an ever-broadening understanding of being human while navigating the complexities of the greater reality. In contrast to a typical discussion forum, participants are encouraged to explore ideas from a metaphysical perspective, where no idea is too far-out!

Utilizing intellect and intuition, participants explore: What is our purpose for existence? Where did we come from? How do our souls come into being? What is the triune nature of mind?

Note: Intended for participants 18-32 years-old only.
