Presenter's Biography:
I was born in Germany and I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, the heartland of America. I realized pretty early on that I was the 'indigo sheep' in my family, as many of us are.
Starting in 1969, I immersed myself in a series of practical apprenticeships, working in the fields of holistic health, metaphysics, beauty, personal growth and planetary evolution, all of which were self-motivated and self-generated. I discovered I was a 'natural' as all of us are when we're realizing our gifts and doing what is ours to do.
I managed and worked as a nutrition consultant at 3 key health food stores for 10 years.
I worked at a cutting edge holistic clinic that assessed blood tests according to 'wellness' norms for 2 years.
I professionally tape recorded (and attended) seminars ranging from holistic health-clinical nutrition to self-help to spirituality for 3 years.
About 20 years ago, I met and married my true partner and traveled the country with him doing shows, reconnecting with old friends and family, and meeting new friends and 'chosen' family, collecting a wealth of life experiences along the way.
Also 20 years ago, I started a highly successful retail business and simultaneously launched a 9-year dance career at age 36!
In 2004, all my sabotaging, self-defeating beliefs 'ganged up' on me, forcing me to stop, look at my life, and tell the truth about what was and wasn't so. While my life was good, I had to admit that my life was not fully an out-picturing of all the wisdom and knowledge that I knew. Things weren't working, really. I stopped, did a meditation, said a prayer"please show me what works and what to do." Two weeks later, thru a series of synchronistic events, I found PSYCH-K (or did PSYCH-K find me!) I watched the Bruce Lipton/Rob Williams DVD and I realized "this is what I've been waiting for all my life."
The blessing of being able to rewrite and delete old programming has been so pivotal for myself, my family, my friends and my clients that we speak of life 'before PSYCH-K' or 'after PSYCH-K'.'
I am grateful to offer this powerful method of personal change to you thru workshops and private sessions, to assist you in clearing any blocks to expressing your Love, Joy, Peace and Prosperity. Presenter's Biography:
Sharif Abdullah is a leading proponent and catalyst for inclusive social, cultural and spiritual transformation. Sharif's life and work has been featured in a number of books and publications, including The Rise of the Intelligent Organization, A House Divided, A Cultural Diversity Sourcebook, and Bridging the Racial Divide. Sharif's own writings include The Power of One: Authentic Leadership in Turbulent Times and Creating a World That Works for All.
Sharif has worked with thousands of individuals and facilitated scores of transformation, empowerment and leadership sessions for various public and private organizations, including city and county governments, federal agencies like US Forest Service and HUD, international bodies like The United Nations, and Sarvodaya Shramadana and large corporations like Freightliner Corporation. In addition, Sharif has facilitated workshops with organizations like Association for Humanistic Psychology, Institute of Noetic Sciences, the International Conflict Resolution Conference, Institute for Sustainable Development, and others.
Sharif received a BA in Psychology from Clark University and went on to earn a juris doctor degree from Boston University. After practicing law in North Carolina for six years, Sharif chose a path to social change that is positive, inclusive and honors the dignity of all beings. Sharif currently directs the Commonway Institute, designed to build inclusively, understanding and civic engagement between diverse groups of people in various settings.
