"Infuse Yourself With Sacred Sound"

An unforgettable event to soothe, inspire, heal and awaken your spirit with Sound Pioneer and recording artist Richard Rudis (Sonam Dorje). Sonam creates transformational healing waves of sound bathing each participant with the rising and falling rhythms, tonalities and vibrations of a huge 38-inch Earth Gong tuned to the sound of the primordial AUM - the ‘Universal Chord’; the vibrational signature of our mother Earth (Ghia) as it dances with our Sun (Sol).

Presenter's Biography:

Richard Rudis is an American practitioner of Vajrayana Buddhism. He is the owner of the Illuminarium Convergence and BuddhistArtifacts.com retail locations specializing in Sacred Eastern Artifacts and Dharma teachings. He has studied Eastern philosophy, both in the States and in Asia, for over twenty years. When last in Tibet he took refuge in the Buddha via His Holiness Karmapa and was given the name Sonam Dorje; (Meritorious Thunderbolt). He has been teaching, across the US, Dharma/vibrational healing workshops with the Himalayan Sacred Sound Instruments and their healing potential for over ten years. He is considered most Knowledgeable in this esoteric field and is part of the film STUPA produced by the University of Connecticut in Storrs.

Here are some comments from sponsors and participants of Richard Rudis's workshops and seminars:

"Richard Rudis is an extraordinary faculty member and facilitator. His expertise in the area of Tibetan sound healing and his experiential teaching style give students the opportunity to explore and experience sound vibrational healing fully immersed. His grounded, yet gentle teaching style encourages dialogue and opens up students to discover how they can best benefit for the variety of sounds he produces from his incredible gong and other Tibetan sacred instruments. Richard Rudis is a sound treat not to be missed."

"Here in Chicago we are all still vibrating from your visit. It was such a unique time with you here, somehow a group was pulled together around you and your visit that was really wonderful. I would love to continue to study with you. I found the sounds and the bowls a very profound catalyst. I have felt myself sensitive to a deeper reality - aware of the ephemeral and the eternal more acutely. And although I am still swamped at times by the nature of human experience, I am also open to being entertained and less attached."

-Bonnie Winer

"This whole sacred sound experience has felt very much like an attunement. The bowls have really allowed me to release blockages quickly and maintain a clearer state. My whole body really seems to be vibrating lately, and I can move so quickly but also relax more easily and bring the energy to my hara. Thank you again for your contributions to my journey."

-Edward Farnham

"Thank you so much for the amazing gong baths and 2 days of training in Seattle!! I have always been drawn to bells, bowls, gongs, but did not really have knowledge of their history and how the Tibetan's use them for healing I bought tingshaws and two bowls from you and have been working with all of them on myself. The bowl really has wonderful tones. It transports me into a meditative state easily. Your music and the workshop have touched me deeply. Thank you so much."

-Renee Schenck, WA

"As a recent arrival in the area, I was just "blown away" by your gong bath. I was buzzing until Sunday. Thanks for such a sensitive and powerful performance (?) or better: transmission."

-Sieglinde Merwin , CA

Interesting people, fascinating information and "extra-ordinary" conversation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

In this interactive forum, participants gain an ever-broadening understanding of being human while navigating the complexities of the greater reality. In contrast to a typical discussion forum, participants are encouraged to explore ideas from a metaphysical perspective, where no idea is too far-out!

Utilizing intellect and intuition, participants explore: What is our purpose for existence? Where did we come from? How do our souls come into being? What is the triune nature of mind?

Note: Intended for participants 18-32 years-old only.
