Video Description:
Is water part of a shared "commons," a human right for all people? Or is it a commodity to be bought, sold, and traded in a global marketplace? "Thirst" tells the stories of communities in Bolivia, India, and the United States that are asking these fundamental questions.
This acclaimed film about the dangerous trend toward private ownership of water systems in the U.S. and abroad will be screened two times in Ashland --
July 8 at 7pm at the Hidden Springs Wellness Center (1651 Siskiyou Blvd.) and
July 15 at 7pm at the RVML Event Center (258 A St.) $5-20 donation requested.

RENT RVML's LECTURE HALL: The 1,000 Sq.ft. presentation area is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible with full audio-visual capabilities available.
