Workshop Description:
Research has clearly demonstrated the power of the mind to improve our lives, including quantum physics, which describes how the mind is constantly creating our world and all of our life circumstances. Metaphysical perspectives further explain this power of the mind or "Law of Attraction".
However, while many of us would claim to know and understand this, most of us are far from realizing our dreams. This workshop will focus on identifying and removing blocks or resistance to getting more of what we want out of life.
Presenters' Biographies:
Dean Shrock, Ph.D. is a Mind-Body Medicine consultant for Triune Integrative Medicine in Medford, Oregon. He served as Director of Mind-Body Medicine for a physician management group of 40 cancer centers. Dr. Shrock is coauthor of the chapter "Mind-Body Medicine in Integrative Cancer Care" in Integrative Oncology, Andrew Weil MD and Donald Abrams MD, editors (in press). He also is author of "Doctor's Orders: Go Fishing", and his newest book that he's currently writing is titled, "Why Love Heals". He has made more than 1,000 professional and public presentations.

Leonard Laskow, MD: The principles of holoenergetic healing are presented in Dr. Laskow's breakthrough book, "Healing with Love". Highly recommended by Deepak Chopra, Larry Dossey, and Dolores Krieger, this book uses ancient and cutting-edge healing techniques, self awareness, energy work, and practical exercises to help one directly experience love as a healing force. In it Dr. Laskow describes his laboratory research, which documents the effectiveness of heart-focused holoenergetic techniques in significantly inhibiting the growth of tumor cells in tissue culture and bacterial growth in test tubes.
The book, originally published in 1992 by Harper Collins, has sold over 30,000 copies in eight languages. In subsequent research, Dr. Laskow has shown that the molecular configuration and properties of water and the physical structure of DNA can be changed by conscious intention, imagery and love.

This Workshop Intensive will focus on personally preparing us for the times of deep social change during the Pluto in Capricorn Era from 2008 until 2023. Pluto, the Planet of Evolution and Transformation will challenge all forms of Capricornian entrenched power. Many personal and collective security patterns will need to give way for authentic integrity and true power to take hold.
Using Pluto's placement in our individual birth charts as a touchstone, Building Our Inner Hearth Intensive will help us to extend and deepen our understanding and response to this important transit. We will use aspects of personal ritual, mindful journey work, and intention setting to strengthen our sense of security, and outer effectiveness with deeper meaning. As we claim this symbolic place/hearth for integrity to reside within, we may clarify the values we want at the foundation of the larger society. Become a Conscious Agent of Social Transformation. Presenter's Biographies:
Sandra Pastorius is a veteran Astrologer in practice since 1979. She was trained/mentored by the late San Francisco astrologer, Robert Cole. In the 1980's she authored Laughing Giraffe's Monthly Lunar Muse. Sandra currently writes for the We'Moon Astrological Datebook, teaches astrology and offers in-depth astrological consultations in person or by phone.
Jane Mara, LCSW is a counselor, writer and dedicated meditation practitioner. She offers classes in Mindful Conversation and has a private practice, HeartWise Counseling, in Grants Pass and the Ashland area.
